About Me

Whether purchasing or selling a home, I enjoy helping my clients through the entire real estate process and forming long-term relationships with them. My goal is to use my knowledge and expertise to help sellers not only market and sell their homes as quickly as possible, but for the highest amount possible. Also, my knowledge and expertise to help buyers not only purchase the house they want, but I'm aware that selling their house is just as important. Continuing education and the ongoing experience in the real estate market has enabled me to provide my clients with the excellent service they want and deserve. I have been blessed to live in the Oak Ridge and Knoxville area my entire life. My personal knowledge of these areas can be especially helpful if you're relocating.
My decision to start in a real estate career in 2000 was a great one. When I'm not with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, gardening and watching college sports. I'm an avid Tennessee Volunteer fan and especially enjoy football and basketball.

  • Extensive work with first-time buyers with emphasis on education of process from first contract to closing table.
  • Working in partnership to with buyers and sellers in all walks of life with their real estate needs. Have helped meet the needs of people that are downsizing, to moving up to larger house or the emotional experience of selling the home of a loved one.
  • Prior to my real estate career I worked 15 years in Oak Ridge Schools as support staff to educators and 15 years in the banking industry.

My Credentials and Memberships

  • Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), advanced training in working with buyers and sellers, marketing, real estate law, investments and other subjects combined with performance requirements and several written tests. Only a five percent of all REALTORS nationwide have earned this designation
  • Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), specialized training in representing buyers through the buying process beginning to end. To earn this designation a REALTOR must meet performance requirements, representing buyers exclusively in several transactions and pass written tests.
  • Graduate of the REALTOR Institute (GRI) must have taken professional in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards and the sales process.
  • Tennessee Real Estate Broker License (2007) Broker license is earned by taking education beyond the affiliate agent level as required by state law and has passed a broker's license exam. Broker license is required if agent wishes to operate an independent office.
  • CARTUS Network Affininity Specialist - Certified to service USAA and military members with relocation and local real estate services. Cartus Broker Network is part of the world's leading relocation network. A course of study and exams are required to earn this accreditation. This certification offers the proven expertise and CARTUS resources in serving clients at the very highest professional level. Nov. 2012 - May 2018
  • CARTUS Network Buyer Specialist and CARTUS Network Marketing Specialist - Buyer and Marketing Specialist have to meet the requirements of course of study and exams as listed in above plus addition of buyer and marketing services. Nov. 2012 - May 2018
